Workshop Title: Systems Development using Visual Basic Programming and MySQL

Date: August 12, 19, and 26, 2009

The second IT Workshop for the first semester SY 2009-2010 was held at the Computer Lab Building, Computer Lab 1 Lamuan, Marikina City.An initiative project of the Institute of Computer Studies and Engineering. This ICSE activity is a three (3) consecutive wednesday workshop started August 12, 2009 and continues on the 19th and 26th of August 2009. The invited IT trainor was Mr. Roy J. Plomantes, the topics that had been discussed are the Systems Development processes,create database structures, putting up a LAMP(Linux, Apache, MySQl and Php) server, and programming using Visual Basic.

Workshop Title: Game Maker

IT and CS students had their fun time as they enjoyed their first IT workshop of the first semester SY 2009-2010, the workshop entitled Game Maker which is the name of the software itself allows to create games in easy and enjoyable way. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Harold Lladoc, who is an academic chair of the Institute of Computer Science and Engineering. Students were very enthusiastic in creating games using the GAME MAKER.
